Networks
Cooperation has been established between Rio Solar,
NGOs and institutions such as; UNESCO, InWEnt, GIZ, Heinrich Böll Foundation,
IDER, IDEAL, Vitae
Civilis, and Greenpeace
Brazil.
The cooperation between The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and Rio Solar has enjoyed a long tradition. Stefan Krauter set up The University’s PV lab and operates a network(?). Sevulo Barros assists with technical mainainance at UFRJ on a regular basis.
The cooperation of Rio Solar with COPPE, UECE, CRESESB, CEPEL enables system tests, on-site yield certifications and integration of Rio Solar projects into other broader based energy projects.

To secure fast and reliable supplies of equipment, cooperation with manufacturers
of RE equipment has been established. Links are in place with firms such as;
Solon, Studer, Würth-Solar, Riotronic, Stecca, Moura, and Nordex. Further cooperations
would be welcomed.
